Peace-Of-Mind Policy

Should cancellation occur due to restrictions imposed by government that prohibits travelling or the daily trading of our hotels, a full refund or credit for a future stay will be processed.
Should cancellation occur due to a traveller testing positive for Covid-19 and is within the self-isolation window at time of travel, a full refund or credit for a future stay will be processed.
No cancellation charges will apply if bookings are postponed to 2022.
Any cancellations due to the above reasons that falls within 14 days of the arrival date, will only qualify for a credit for a future stay.

Postponement Of Bookings Due To The Pandemic

2021 rates will be honoured for bookings postponed to 2022.
The respective rate season will be taken into account if the booking is postponed to another season in 2022.
Value adds and promotions will be honoured if client is travelling in the same season.
There is no surcharge for postponed bookings.
There is no maximum to the number of amendments per booking.
Bookings postponed to 2023 will be considered as a cancelled booking and a new booking will be made for the new dates.

Cancellation Policy

Standard Cancellation

• In the event of a cancellation within 30 to 15 days of the confirmed arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
• In the event of a "no-show" or cancellation less than 14 days of the confirmed arrival date, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
• Please note that the cancellation must be made in writing.

Peak Cancellation

• In the event of a cancellation within 46 - 60 days of the confirmed arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
• In the event of a cancellation within 31 - 45 days of the confirmed arrival date, a 75% cancellation fee will apply.
• In the event of a "no-show" or cancellation less than 30 days of the confirmed arrival date, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
• Please note that the cancellation must be made in writing.

 

 



Kindly note the availability of the following departments.

• Trade Reservations department will only operate Tuesdays – Fridays from 08:00 – 17:00.
• Sales and Production department will only be operating Tuesdays – Thursdays from 08:00 – 17:00
• Groups department will only be operating Thursdays & Fridays from 08:00 – 17:00

Outside these designated times these departments which includes email and telephone lines will not be attended to.

Long stay Rates available



Village n Life is now offering discounted rates for guests needing to stay a little longer. Contact our reservations department for rates for stays longer that 7, 14 and 21 days.

Rates and Contracting

HOTELS - We have applied certain rate reductions for our international rack rates at some of our Hotels.
By doing this we protect the interest of our trade supplier in terms of commission structures and also keep the rate in line with our offering.

Our published international rack rates will be reduced as follows:

The Bay Hotel 20%
Camps Bay Retreat 20%
Pezula Resort Hotel & Spa Remain as is
Harbour House Hotel 15%
The Farmhouse Hotel Remain as is

Your contracted STO percentage will remain in place.

The above amendment is for all new bookings with Travel dates up to 30 April 2021.

SERVICED PLACES – Our STO rates are still valid and have been finalized and ready to distribute until April 2022.

DOMESTIC RATES - Rates for the Domestic Market have been amended and the STO limited to 20%

Property information

The Following properties have been moved from holiday rentals to long-term rentals:
• Camps Bay Village
• Stone Cottages
• Mouille Point Village
• De Waterkant Village

Please be advised that all future reservations at these properties have been released.
Kindly make contact with our reservation department if you have not already done so to secure alternative accommodation within our portfolio.

Our Hotels have opened on a curated basis and the following changes have been implemented:
• In order to uphold the health and safety of our guests and employees we have changed our Breakfast to a Plated instead of Buffet.
• Our Restaurants are open on a Deli Style basis with a selected menu, but still offering guests a variety to choose from.
• Mini Bar’s will only be filled upon guests request and with the products the guests prefer to consume during their stay. This needs to be requested prior to the guests arrival.

The Charles Café & Rooms will going forward be managed independently.
