In these unprecedented times we have a small dedicated team spread over various departments assisting wherever they can. The mailboxes for trade reservations will only be attended to intermittently depending on priority.

CANCELLATION and AMENDMENT POLICY DURING COVID - 19


PEACE-OF-MIND POLICY

Should cancellation occur due to restrictions imposed by government that prohibits travelling or the daily trading of our hotels, a full refund or credit for a future stay will be processed.
Should cancellation occur due to a traveller testing positive for Covid-19 and is within the self-isolation window at time of travel, a full refund or credit for a future stay will be processed.
No cancellation charges will apply if bookings are postponed to 2022.
Any cancellations due to the above reasons that falls within 14 days of the arrival date, will only qualify for a credit for a future stay.

POSTPONEMENTS OF BOOKINGS DUE TO THE PANDEMIC

2021 rates will be honoured for bookings postponed to 2022.
The respective rate season will be taken into account if the booking is postponed to another season in 2022.
Value adds and promotions will be honoured if client is travelling in the same season.
There is no surcharge for postponed bookings.
There is no maximum to the number of amendments per booking.
Bookings postponed to 2023 will be considered as a cancelled booking and a new booking will be made for the new dates.

CANCELLATION POLICY

STANDARD CANCELLATION

In the event of a cancellation within 30 to 15 days of the confirmed arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
In the event of a "no-show" or cancellation less than 14 days of the confirmed arrival date, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
Please note that the cancellation must be made in writing.

PEAK CANCELLATION

In the event of a cancellation within 46 - 60 days of the confirmed arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
In the event of a cancellation within 31 - 45 days of the confirmed arrival date, a 75% cancellation fee will apply.
In the event of a "no-show" or cancellation less than 30 days of the confirmed arrival date, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
Please note that the cancellation must be made in writing.

GROUPS

Full payment 60 days prior to arrival.
*unless the operator / DMC has agreed AR terms.

If the hotel inventory is full and a new prospective enquiry arises that is willing to confirm the booking (i.e. pay in full), the provisional bookings in the system will be given the opportunity to pay or contractually commit to a 25% non-refundable deposit to continue holding the said inventory or release the booking.

No cancellation fees will be charged if cancelled due to travel bans / travel restrictions on any FITs and groups as defined in the STO contract.

All bookings will be 100% refundable up to 14 days prior to arrival.

These terms are only applicable during the Covid-19 pandemic and when the situation normalizes the regular Terms and conditions apply as outlined in the STO contracts. Village N Life reserves the right at any point in time to amend or withdraw these rates, terms and conditions.
